2010 Earth Eve Parade Always Fun: Massachusetts’ only Eco-Friendly Parade

Make a statement to address climate change! On Thursday, April 8th, at 5:00 p.m., attend New Bedford’s Earth Eve Procession. The day will be filled with fun, as the group parades along the route with their eco-floats. Eco-floats are anything a person or group can wear, roll, or carry. The main topics of this event are reducing, reusing, and recycling. The procession will begin at 5:30pm, at the Custom House Square (corner of William St and Acushnet Ave in New Bedford), and travel through the downtown historic district, along Acushnet Avenue to the reviewing stand, where Mother Earth and Father Ocean will then be crowned. Everyone is welcome! Register online here!

2010 Parade Partners: AHA and SEEAL, both Funds of the Community Foundation of Southeastern Massachusetts, The City of New Bedford, Greater New Bedford Regional Refuse District Management, and the RSbpzoo Planet Protectors.
